The Wharf, situated along the District of Columbia’s Southwest Waterfront just blocks south of the National Mall, is easily accessible to the region. When complete, The Wharf will feature more than 3 million square feet of new residential, office, hotel, retail, cultural, marina, and public uses, including waterfront parks, promenades, piers, and docks, designed by one of the most impressive lineups of architects in the nation.
The Grand Opening period for Phase 1 begins in October 2017 and Phase 2 delivers in 2021.
As of October, people will enjoy:
– Four public piers with a multitude of public uses, including a free kayak and paddleboard launch, swings, fitness classes, festivals and celebrations, a seasonal ice rink, concerts, and waterfront seating;
– A robust water taxi system serving the DMV that will transport people to and from The Wharf’s Transit Pier with stops in Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, and National Harbor, MD;
– Day docking for visiting boats, an active marina and yacht club The Most Exciting Neighborhood in the History of the Nation’s Capital where DC meets waterfront L IVE AT THE WHARF With 868 residences across four distinct buildings, there is plenty of opportunity to call The Wharf home. From distinctive condos for sale to amenity-rich apartments for rent, these residences offer spectacular views of the Potomac River and national monuments.

The Wharf will host the first Canopy by Hilton Hotel to open in North America, the Hyatt House (an extended-stay hotel offering all the comforts of home) and Intercontinental Hotel, which offers distinctive guestrooms and suites, meeting and event spaces.
