As Instagram reveals its ‘year in review’ – the most-used hashtags and the most geotagged locations by its some 400 million users – we take a look at the most Instagrammed 10 hotels around the world.

The most photographed 10 hotels on Instagram in 2015. Fontainbleu Hotel Miami takes the second place.

The most photographed 10 hotels on Instagram in 2015. Condé Nast Traveler had the first look at Instagram’s ultimate list of photo-ready hotels and resorts around the world, pulled together using geotags and hashtags to track what hotspots are the most ‘gramable. Full of selfies with Mickey Mouse at Tokyo Disneyland and beach-goers lounging in the Hawaiian sands at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, these Instagram feeds are reasons alone to add these gorgeous locales to your vacation bucket list.

10. Titanic Deluxe Belek, Turkey

Six swimming pools, a private beach and white curtain-framed cabanas mean that this hotel, on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast, is prime Instagram fodder.

9. Tokyo Disney Resort
Surprisingly, the only Disney hotel to make the list. The 115-acre theme park, 30 minutes outside of downtown Tokyo, is an Instagram user’s paradise.

With beloved characters roaming the paths, extravagent light shows each night around the castle, and plenty of souvenirs (with an extra dash of Japanese kitsch), there’s no shortage of spots to snap photos.

8. The Plaza Hotel, New York City

This glorious 20-storey 1907 French Château-style building was originally a residence for wealthy New Yorkers. Decked out in the gold, marble and crystal opulence of a palace, it soon transitioned into New York’s premier hotel, featured in the Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald was a regular), a dozen movies (most famously Hitchcock’s North by Northwest), and site of Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball in 1966.

The small waves on the beach make the hotel a great destination for aspiring surfers hitting the waves for the first time. Make sure to have Instagram ready for that first pop up.

6. Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort (Honolulu, Hawaii)

A favorite of honeymooners and families, this hotel’s beach stretches across 22 acres of beachfront sand. The resort may be best know for its psychedelic and iconic Rainbow Tower, but you’ll find most ‘grammers are heading straight for the water.

5. Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island, Bahamas

Resorts don’t get much more recognizable than Atlantis. The combination of the classic peach buildings and amazing water slides make the Bahamian outpost of this brand a standout on Instagram.

4. Ushuaia Ibiza

No surprises that an Ibizan party palace graces the list – and Ushuaia, on Playa d’en Bossa is perhaps Ibiza’s most raucous during the season. The experts says it’s “party central, but in a chic way.”

3. Atlantis The Palm, Dubai

Built on the outer ring of Dubai’s famed Palm Island, this Atlantis location has just as much Caribbean flair as you would find in the Bahamas. To get this shot, book a helicopter flight around the island.

2. The Fontainbleau Hotel, Miami

Described as ‘the epitome of mid-century glamour,’ the Fontainbleau has been a Miami hotspot long before the days of Instagram – it opened in 1954. Popular shots include the lobby chandeliers, designed by Ai Wei Wei, and the neon-heavy Bleau Bar.

1.Universal Orlando Resort, Florida

It comes as no surprise that one of Florida’s mega-resorts tops the list. Next summer will see the opening of Loews Sapphire Falls Resort onsite at Universal, and will have 1000 suites, a Caribbean theme and a lagoon.
