Chef de Jager’s new menu at Queen’s Gardens Restaurant creatively combines a variety of internationally inspired dishes featuring fresh local produce and ingredients even from the hotel’s own organic garden, ensuring the natural inherent flavors shine through. A few signature items include Chef de Jager’s take on Ossobuco, a classic Italian braised veal shank and vegetable dish, Fresh Seafood Risotto, and Crab Stuffed Flank Steak. This coupled with attentive personal service and the hotel’s extensive New and Old World wine list, Queen’s Gardens Restaurant is raising the bar on fine dining in the Caribbean.
Chef de Jager honed his skills working with several top chefs and restaurants around the world including acclaimed Michelin Bib Gourmand Restaurant Coco Pazzo in The Netherlands and alongside Chef Hans van Triest, winner of the 2006 Caribbean Chef of the Year Award.
In addition, Queen’s Gardens Resort is offering a tempting culinary package for foodies to learn about aromatic local ingredients and cooking techniques straight from the Chef himself. The Culinary Delight Package includes a five-night stay in a superior suite with private Jacuzzi, daily American or Dutch breakfast, a daily sweet treat, four evenings of a two-course dinner and an afternoon private culinary workshop with Chef de Jager. Package rate is $1,775 based on double occupancy and includes round-trip airport transfers and all taxes.
