Palácio Tangará, the newest Oetker Collection property, officially opened its doors on May 11. The new hotel has 141 guestrooms and 59 suites overlooking Burle Marx Park in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

With an exceptional location in the heart of the economic capital of Brazil – São Paulo – Palácio Tangará is now open. Built in the surroundings of the highly regarded Burle Marx Park under the auspices of architects B+H Architects, Bick Simonato and PAR Arquitetura. The hotel offers 141 spacious guestrooms – including 59 suites – all with beautiful views overlooking the park.

Designed by architect Patricia Anastassiadis, Palácio Tangará draws inspiration from Brazilian art and natural landscapes. The Grand Lobby has artwork by artist Laura Vinci, introducing the same greenery as found in Burle Marx Park. The Burle Bar has photographs of the Amazon rainforest signed by Cristian Cravo, Araquem Alcantara and Alessandro Gruetzmacher. In Tangará Jean-Georges, a green carpet imitates the bottom of the lake and reflection of the forest on the water.

The interior of the rooms and corridors were designed by Bick Simonato using a blue, beige, grey and green color scheme. All rooms are designed to open onto a balcony or terrace.
