Comfort yourself in nature within the 40-hectares (100 acre) estate of Finca Serena. Here, nature of the Mediterranean grows uninhibited: ancient olive groves and lemon trees, cypresses and pines share the land with fields of lavender, orchards and 10-hectares of newly planted indigenous grapes. The beautiful landscape includes 834 olive trees and three vegetable gardens for the use in the kitchen of Restaurant Jacaranda.

The estate is home to 25 luxurious rooms and suites nestled into the countryside and scattered throughout the property. They bring a meeting of past and present, a coming together between tradition and modernity. The modifications to the original structures were designed to bring a greater integration between the guests and nature.

Pilar Garcia-Nieto, who is the overall director of interior design for all the Único Hotels, together with local Mallorca Architect Sergi Bastidas were tasked with giving form to the imagination of owner Pau Guardans. A floating bamboo sculpture created by Laurent Martin presides over the reception area, the restoration of an original chimney in the main house or art works of Claudia Valcells inspired by the estate are typical of the design approach.


The accommodation within the main building is carefully planned to combine calm and privacy. The building includes eight rooms and suites, the remainder are distributed within 8 separate buildings – creating a perfect refuge.

Twenty-five ‘perfectly imperfect’ rooms along the lines of wabi-sabi are decorated with natural fabrics, cottons,linens, stone, wood and other local materials that make for unique spaces. Rooms are flooded with daylight, many have their own terraces or are set beside a garden. Each room has views overlooking the estate, olive groves or countryside.




The island has a rich gastronomic offering and Finca Serena has access to its own generous kitchen gardens, fruit trees, and selection of natural produce, ensuring the freshest ingredients. Products are plucked from the trees and gardens and brought to the table. Traditional local recipes are created in a modern fresh culinary style by master Chef Cristian Peguero.
