11 HOWARD — New York City, United States
Newly opened in April 2016, 11 Howard´s raison d´être is “conscious hospitality.” This idea is omnipresent throughout the 221-room hotel, starting with its interior design — a collaboration between Anda Andrei Design and influential Danish firm Space Copenhagen — and extending to its co-working space 11H Collective, its cooperation with local artists, and involvement with a number of nonprofit organizations.
The hotel not only plays host to the just-opened French haute-cuisine restaurant Le Coucou, but boasts one of the neighborhood’s hippest bars, The Blond, which attracts an eclectic crowd of creatives and further-afield guests in the depths of downtown New York. 11 Howard is SoHo´s new wonder: cool, socially conscious, and a showcase of Scandic design characterized by an abundance of natural light, marble and oak furnishings, and a curated art collection. Doubles start from USD 270.
